Biography
I am a Canadian citizen, hold a Masters degree in Educational Administration and a current Teaching license from the Province of Ontario. I have fifteen years of elementary teaching experience in Ontario schools, five years of Intermediate teaching experience overseas in Hong Kong and Japan and five years experience as Principal at Hiroshima International School in Japan. I have recently completed the Ontario's Principal’s Qualification Program and YRDSB's administrative internship leadership program.
Presently, I am teaching as a lead Intermediate teacher at Trillium Woods P.S., YRDSB. I also volunteer my time at a local elementary school in York Region to assist in the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. These experiences, coupled with extensive reading of the latest educational/leadership research and best practices, have helped me become well versed in Ontario’s educational vision, procedures and expectations.
